Family Re-Union 9: Families and Seniors Across the
Generations
Posted 10/16/00. Tentative. All times subject to change.
This year we offer down link audiences several options:
- View the morning program live from 8:30 to 11:35 am CST, turn off
the satellite transmission and conduct your own community conversations
over lunch, and tune in from 3:15 4:45 for the afternoon session.
- View a re-broadcast of the morning program from 11:45 am to 2:50 pm
CST, followed immediately by the afternoon session, which runs from
3:15 to 4:45 pm. This option provides 4 hours of continuous satellite
programming. Sites choosing this option are encouraged to hold their
own community conversations before or after the broadcast.
NOTE:
All times are Central Standard; please adjust for your time zone.
This is a DRAFT program; a more detailed agenda will be posted here on
November 1, but the start and end times of the broadcast will not change.

A forum discussion of the issues facing families and their senior members.
Local leaders offer new perspectives on ways to help intergenerational
families and communities thrive.
10:15 am PANEL DISCUSSION
"Insights and Solutions: How Can We Care for Each Other?"
Leaders in the field discuss the most pressing problems facing all
generations as they care for one another, and they also offer some promising
solutions.
11:15 am FILM
Conference film features children being interviewed on the topic of
seniors in their families.
11: 35 am END OF MORNING SESSION
11:45 am 2:50 pm Re-broadcast of the morning program (see above
8:30 11:35 am).
3: 15 pm FINAL SESSION
"Across the Generations: What does the Future Hold?"
4:45 pm END OF BROADCAST
